Time

A long day of talking and attempts at distraction. Managed our visit to Ikea but purchased more than we needed. Nearly forgot to take any photo at all, so I stopped somewhere near Salem, Oregon at sundown.

Sadness came over us both as we pulled into the empty parking spot at home. Our minivan was our family investment. We bought it when our youngest was two weeks old. We paid it off with our home equity. We just spent hundreds of dollars only two weeks ago to get new tires. We are not materialistic, but our van was part of our family. Deep breath.
