Polytunnel July
Oh what a few days!! Totally hectic - emotionally, physically , mentally and absolutely no time or energy to post journal entries but I have been blipping and have back-blipped.
The card saga continues and is too long and fraught to go into, but I'm at the point where it's almost getting hysterical - everything that could go wrong has. The wwoofers have been working madly and departed today - really nice girls and the garden is looking partially tamed! Samba sessions, ambient dub sessions (!!!) which did not start till 11pm (I'm too old!!); jam making, and huge walks. This week looks a bit more peaceful.
Polytunnel day - it's still growing madly - on the left are broadbeans, peas, tomatoes, beetroot, herbs with the vine right at the end; on the right are more beans, peppers, aubergine, sweet corn and rocket. The first garlic and onions have been pulled and are drying at the end. We have been eating redcurrants, blackcurrants and the gooseberries are now ready.
Off to watch Robin Hood, son number 1's movie choice for tonight but will catch up soon :)
