Dad 2yrs today xx

I thought of you with love today,
but that is nothing new.
I thought about you yesterday.
and days before that too.
I think of you in silence,
and I often speak your name,
But all I have are memories,
and your picture in a frame.
Your resting place I visit,
and place flowers there with care,
But no one knows the heartache,
As I turn and leave you there
Your memories are my keepsake,
with which we`ll never part.
God has you in his keeping
I have you in my heart.

The Inscription is on the headstone, they were only apart 3yrs - I miss them both.
