The Silkie

We were invited to a wee soiree in a lovely garden this evening - just stunning, but I will preserve its anonymity.

As we were leaving, K spotted something moving behind a gate, and we peeked over to see a brood of these wonderful creatures. I had never seen these before - they are called Silkies and their history can be traced back for 2,000 years in China, reaching the UK in the 1880s.
