The Eden Project

Look !! Our first ever family photo of us all together. Poor Amelia hasnt seen much of the holiday stuck under Harvey's chair in the Phil & Ted so i plucked her out of her hiding place for a family pic.

The Eden project is the most amazing place i have ever been. It's a sight to be seen. The biggest greenhouse in the world apparently. Everywhere you look their is something else to see. We stayed till the very last minute they where open. The food in the cafe's where amazing and made with the stuff they grow in the gardens. All the gardens are split into sections. The two seperate greenhouses where one for mediteranian with huge orange, leamon, plum and peach trees, to name but a few andlots of sculptures, settings an more, more, more !!!! The other greenhouse is the tropical zone. Their was everything you could imagine thats grows in a tropical forest and the canapy above was amazing. Too hot for the kids though so Lee stayed outside with them while i walked round it.

Their is also a place called the core which was a centre showing you how the climate is changing and making you think about the environment. Their was a huge wall of fridges and thousands of fridge magnet letters that you could make words on. Lot's of exhibits etc. Outside of here was a large sculpture of a robit type thing made out of all the electrical items that one person throws away in one lifetime. It was huge !!! Really made you think.

We left their at 6 and found a pub we could go to for some tea. Harvey was very naughty and screamed and threw food and really let me down, i was so embarrased, he was very, very tired as he had walked around most of the day. So we didnt hang around long and got off home.
