Salad Days

I picked three kinds of lettuce from the garden to make a green salad for the 4th of July picnic. Aren't they beautiful?

That mama mockingbird was dive bombing me again today. She does not like me in the garden at all now, too close to her eggs which will hatch very soon. She hit me in the back of the head!

Also made a black raspberry slump for dessert with those berries I blipped a few day ago (here), and marinated some chicken breasts for the grill.
