This is the bay from Sandwick got its name half an hour before sunset. The old parish church with the graveyard is foremost and would have been the centre of the village over a 100 years ago.

In the far distance to the right is the Island of Noss and just in front the Island of Bressay that gives Lerwick its sheltered harbour.

Best seen in large
