The Dog Days Are Over

Here is a daisy. It is growing in the wild flower patch we planted near the pond in the garden.

I like daisies, I think they are my second favourite flower behind blue roses.

For me the daisy is a flower that symbolises summer.

The daisy also makes me think of the song 'Dog Days are Over' by Florence and the Machine hence the title.
