We went to see Damon Albarn's opera, Doctor Dee at the Manchester International Festival. I loved it. Mr B and Tom were less enthralled. We then went for drinks, I happened to start talking about Victoria Wood's new play (which we're seeing next week) and who should be at the next table but the lady herself!! Mr B and Tom failed to play it cool.
