The Water's Lovely

Well, the forecast suggested it might be the last decent day for a while, so a wee sail was certainly called for, and it was quite excellent - I think we got the best of the wind as it turned a bit light and variable just as we headed back in. I'd like to say it was gorgeous back in the harbour but there was no denying an unpleasant niff in the air. Later on I heard from Frank (one of the 'live aboards') that there had been a certain problem with the main cludgie down at the new flats - he's off tomorrow to Portugal and nae wonder.
Indeed, the club has fairly emptied out over the summer. Only a sad few are left, dreaming of retirement.
