effing typical........

so as you can probably tell the building work continues in the McD household.
here we have yet another wall knocked out. at least now it's all open space as there is nothing between the extension and the rest of the house. hopefully by the time we return from edinburgh next week it shall all be finished.............at least to the point of only having to be decorated.

as the title suggests it is not all plain sailing. there is some evidence of woodworm on one of the joists. hopefully this is not a widespread problem and can be dealt with simply and quickly..................................i accept that this is unlikely to be the case as this is not how my life works. still as i said things are moving forward and the new kitchen can soon go in and that'll be this part of the house done, which of course just frees up time to start on converting the garage into a gym/leisure area. at least that bit does interest me.
