Helpless

Sometimes the feeling of helplessness when someone you love is in pain, is overwhelming. The knowledge that you would willingly put yourself in their place and take the pain for them.

A cough kept me off school today. And I had to let go of my friend and trust in God and the surgeon.

That trust was well-placed. He was sounding good.

Thank you to JL for sorting out Cousteau for me. He is sleeping soundly now.

So, a day of coughs and mixed emotions.

Pretty tired now. I'm off to bed.

This was the frosty start to the day. The blue skies continued throughout the day.
