Plain Vanilla
An elderly lady comes out of her house in the passage way.
'Taking photos?'
'Yes, actually...not of the whole building....I like the bits in between.'
She twists round to see what I'm talking about. 'Would you like to see?', I ask.
'Come into the shade.'
We stand under a Marquesa leaf bigger than an elephant's ear and I zoom and scroll as she rummages in her handbag for her spectacles.
'Here,' I say, wiping my sweat off the screen with my thumb. She peers in.
'Oh, thats good!'
'It's not something that a single artist created...'
'But a single artist saw it!' She smiles at me, I pause, and then laugh out loud.
'Well said!', I exclaim, warming to her and the idea. 'See you next time!'
