Bergman vs. Working Girl

1. I didn't take any photos today and had to panic snap my new shoes. Don't get me wrong, I love a shoe pic as much as the next girl, but it doesn't really do my day - or my shoes - justice.

2. It was a Monday, but it was a very sunny Monday. I have a very strong memory of running out a corridor when I was in primary 3, I ran out all by myself to an empty playground in the sunshine and felt the warmth like running into a warm blanket. I thought about that today when I stepped out the door of the office.

3. I had four meetings today. That's probably about normal for me - maybe a bit more than average. Long, long hours spent talking. Each one sets me a little on edge today and I wonder am I losing my confidence after Five Minute Theatre. I don't let it show and my briskness pays off.

4. There were lots of things I could have done with my evening. I could have run, or cleaned or hung pictures. Instead I eat my messy, messy dinner, soaking up the juice with crusty bread and watch the TdF highlights.

5. And then? Then I start to watch Through the Glass Darkly but within minutes switch to Working Girl. And I just don't care.
