Flower bud

Another pic from the garden. Don't know what these are called. They leave purple flowers in their tower trail.

Busy day on the phone and emails. Did some speed training - I say speed in the lightest of ways - or fartlek training. I did two bursts, that was enough. It stole the pace from the rest of my run.

I'm doing a 10 mile race at the end of the month to prepare for the half marathon in September. My mum reckons I need to do some speed and hill running - she's right (sigh)!
