Lens

Just messing about with an old Carl Zeiss lens I have. I keep it in the hope that one day I might be able to afford enough to use it with a Leica camera. I take it off the shelf and out of its leather bag every now and then to dust it down and admire it. Such a terrific piece of optical engineering from the old DDR days.

I held the Zeiss lens separate from my camera and its fixed lens to focus on a cap then took the picture so it suffers a bit from being 'hand held'. As I say, just wistfully messing about. Even with this Heath-Robinson approach I was still impressed with the clarity it delivered.
