Turista

Took a days holiday today, ended up being a tourist in Edinburgh followed by a trip to the Blue & Yellow shed for a spot of retail therapy, then home for a spot of gardening in the polytunnel. Nice & dry in there whilst it was belting it down outside.

First major disaster in the tunnel, the carrots didn?t survive as they were all split, so spot of re-arranging and I'll do a second sowing in another section this evening. The variety i used were a trial. Last time i buy seedlings from B&Q; i'll be sticking to seeds from now on!

Anyway, took this shot whilst wandering round Edinburgh. Had never ventured up Calton Hill before. That's the unfinished National Monument in the background for anyone who doesn't know Edinburgh. It's nice to visit & work, but i do love living in rural Perthshire.
