Ruby rose

Two days before our wedding anniversary, the rose bush that a friend gave us on our Ruby Wedding last year is in bloom again. The late sun after a fairly miserable day is shining on the raindrops still gleaming on the petals - an apt metaphor for the day, a marriage, a life.
