Fuchsia

Hanging on to their hats in this strong wind! When I got home from work followed by a nice lunch with an ex-colleague, I found the flower box in which this fuchsia is planted, lying on it's side, blown over by the wind.

The weatherman said despite the rain it wouldn't be too cold - then he popped up the regional map, displaying a 10, which is good if you're on Strictly Come Dancing, but not if you're on a weather map!

10?! Has he forgotten it's JULY??!!

Rant over. I'm off to bed to read my new book ( " Trek ", about 4 people who crossed Africa in a Morris Traveller in 1955 - unbelievably one of them had done it before, but this time I believe things didn't go well ).
