Easy Tiger

After a long weekend of great sunshine, it was a dreich day with the rain chucking it down for most of it. When it stopped, I popped out the office for lunch with a plan to capture something a bit colorful.

Hundreds of cars and people will walk past the other side of this wall at Custom Quay in Glasgow every day and probably have no idea that this mural is on the other side. The only reason I knew about it was that we have done some community litter pick events along the quayside.

The mural was designed by artist John McFaul to celebrate the Chinese Year of the Tiger in 2010. Commissioned by Tiger Beer, there are apparently eight murals across the country with five of them representing one of the elements of the Chinese zodiac. Glasgow got 'fire'....could've been doing with turning up the heat a bit today. Day off tomorrow - sun please.
