Adventure...

I had the day off so I got up at 9am had breakfast. Did some cross stitch and then some gardening and then did lots of laundry by hand (so the colours would not run and stain other cloths).

Headed to Mum & Jocks for lunch and we decided to go for an adventure as the weather was nice. 1st we went to Castle Douglas and I got a sun lounger/chair for the garden. We then headed to the cream of Galloway for an ice cream. A discussion ensued as to who ordered the best ice cream. I had a scoop of blackcurrant and a scope of double chocolate, Jock had a scoop of peppermint choc chip and a scoop of double chocolate and Mum had a scoop of caramel choc chip and real raspberry. The solution to the discussion was found as we each decided our own was the best.

In the top right picture you can see the tool used to remove a Skelf from a finger. top middle is the view of the sea in the distance. top right is wee calves at the cream of Galloway enjoying the sunshine. Bottom right is a massive shed being build at the cream of Galloway. Middle picture is of the old church outside Bourge. bottom middle is a lovely swan enjoying the clover and the sunshine. Bottom right is the dinosaur at the chocolate factory we visited on the way home.


Had a yummy dinner at Mum & Jocks. After that I went to Lockerbie to pick up Mike and we had a lovely evening watching tv.
