Moth on poppy

Little opportunity to take photos today. Had a quick walk at lunchtime but it was very windy and looked as if it was about to rain at any minute.

This moth was clinging to one of the oriental poppy heads in the garden when I got home. I think it might be a broad-barred white moth (from a quick google search).

My ticket for Sapporo in Japan was booked today - could be an interesting trip at the beginning of September. Lots to do before the meeting we'll be running there and I'm not sure how much time will be spent outside the conference centre!
