Wow ....
This man is 71 and when I shut my eyes and heard him sing his voice sounded like that of a 30 year old man... absolutely astounding. Obviously his technique has kept this beautiful welsh voice in top notch condition.
Less Rock and Roll these days and the solitary pair of big pants hanging from a corporate umbrella in a sea of grey balding heads sums up the Henley audience.
I was in the Grandstand and was told to sit down when I spontaneously started to get my groove on to "Kiss"... I felt like a naughty teenager but the middle class repression just added to the fun of a very wonderful night.
Post Tom we sauntered back to the hospitality tent and had a great night dancing to a Jazz band.
This has been an amazing week so far full of incredible live music - Thank you Tom!
