A self portrait

Lately I have been trying to get a lot of people to produce a self portrait and post it here but with absolutely no success so I thought that I better do another one to try to get you all motivated again. Come on folks lets see ya all.

It got me thinking...........

Why as photographers should we be so scared to be on the other side of the camera? Its painless and free but we still refuse to expose ourselves to the view of the lens. We are happy to snap away and embarrass our family and friends but are not willing to show ourselves when we have total control of the outcome. Why.....?
Cant wait to see all the upcoming self portraits.
