Coniston Water

This is the ship's dog onboard the National Trust steam yacht Gondola on Coniston Water, the third largest lake in England. We were visiting Granny and this was Dylan's first boat trip. Gondola is a beautifully restored Victorian era vessel - we had hoped to hold a champagne reception onboard after our wedding almost three years ago, but when we decided to get married near Lake Windermere instead, we had to change plans for the cruise. It's well worth a trip - the cruise is just beautiful and Coniston is not as busy as Windermere. Dylan seemed to enjoy himself - got lots of cuddles and could look out of the windows properly instead of being strapped into a carseat the way he usually travels.
