Forest fire

Woken up at three in the morning by our friends (and 2 babies) who were evacuated from home a few streets away. We packed our bags ready to leave too (computer, passports, photograph album, house documents, water and dog food - what would you save???) but we were OK, we all spent the night here and ourfriends have now gone back home to clean up. There are still huge clouds of smoke and helecopters with buckets of seawater underneath flying past every two minutes. And our patio and pool are full of ash! But looks like no one is injured which is the main thing. And it reminds me to check the house insurance.
