Unfolding

I am much earlier than usual with my Blip (so don't miss yesterday's if you have not seen it yet.

The David Austin roses continue to delight us. This is Alnwick Castle again, with a close up treatment. I used a x2 added onto my 100mm macro and hand held (too lazy to get the tripod) just to see how it would work out. The wind did not help, but there was plenty of light.

The tree felling continues next door and the tree officer is coming soon to look at one of our ash trees. It looks a bit dodgy now that the beech has gone.

The refurbished computer has not come home as I expected today so I'll have to think of something else to do with my time!
