Darned Slugs

This hosta has been hole free for the last 3 years.
This year has been so wet that the slugs and snails (I have mainly noticed snails) have had a field day.

Bags (formally known as daughter) had her last 1/2 day at the the horrid fish processing firm that made her life so miserable about going back after becoming a mother (they even made her go back for 3 1/2 days after a year off).
So her 'work clothes' are now in the bin and there will be no foul smells after she starts her new job on Monday.

The Cygnet had his second hair cut this afternoon and seemingly wriggled enough for the hairdresser to cut herself.
She says better that than cut him ........... personally, I think it would make him think twice about not sitting still.
