Sand dune guardian at Rockanje strand!

A most enjoyable day at the beach today. After my somewhat unsuccessful attempt at a relaxing trip on Tuesday, I decided to try again and headed a little further south today to the coastline at Rockanje.

What a lovely little place to retreat to. I enjoyed a fabulous long walk up the coastline, wandered for almost an hour before I came across another person. My idea of heaven!

I'm still exploring new places to take my folks when they come to visit us in a couple of weeks time and this is a great stretch of coastline. Lovely woodland areas beyond the dunes too. Definitely well worthy of a return visit.
