Contemplation

I had a wander around the riverside at lunch-time today and spotted this chap deep in thought.

I was delighted to hear last week that my temporary post as a Teaching Assistant will be permanent from September!

The conversation went something along the lines of:

Manager: "kissy, we're delighted to tell you that your hours will be permanent from September"

Me: "Yay!!! That's great, thanks very much"

The conversation should have gone along the lines of:


Manager: "kissy, we're delighted to tell you that your hours will be permanent from September. However we should warn you that with the huge variety of different things happening in the last few weeks of term (Sports Day, School Trip etc etc), the children will change beyond recognition and be generally over excited and hyper."

Me: "Yay!!! That's great, thanks very much, Please can I have the last 3 weeks of term off".

December should be 'interesting'!!!!
