Little luxury
"The most effective kind of education is that a child should play amongst lovely things."
Plato
I have a general rule in life that I shouldn't be allowed to have nice things because I spoil, break or lose them. I may have mentioned this before. I don't see this as a big deal in my life, on the whole I'm happier with inexpensive things that I don't have to worry about.
But the exception to this is makeup. I'm not a very girly girl - I don't wear much makeup and am often happier without, but what I do have is lovely. I've learned, through a little playing, that if I'm going to put anything on my face, it should be a little bit of luxury.
Like that pictured.
Thanks, by the way, to all who offered helpful suggestions/supportive comments about my catering exploits. All went well, I fed eight people, there was a little left over and comments were positive. Had soul, clearly. :-)
