Curator

This gentleman is the Curator, Proprietor, and Owner of the Museum - and Gift Shop - in Pinos Altos, New Mexico. The property has been in his family since about 1880. He grew up here and has lived here for the last 40 years.

Gold was discovered in Pinos Altos in 1860. It was once a thriving County Seat but is now nearly a Ghost Town. The museum is housed in a log cabin, built around 1866 which was once a private school house. The museum also houses dust from the early 20th Century and an assortment of manual typewriters, comptometers, and an ancient telephone switchboard.
