Lyra and Giselle

A happy reunion this evening with Lyra, and a first meeting with one of her delightful daughters, Giselle. Lyra's husband, Roberto, was one of my closest classmates during my MBA twenty years ago, and as there were not many married couples on the course, we become close 'couple friends' as well, meeting ever Sunday evening after 'the boys' case studies had been prepared for the Monday to have a few beers and tapas.

We've kept in touch through the years but such is life that we haven't seen each other in 18 years as they made their lives in Mexico, the US and now Canada, while we were moving between Spain, Brazil , England and Hungary. It really was just like old times and we had a glass or two of champagne on the patio to celebrate!
