Pretty spectacular thunderstorms today. Well, from the comfort of an office they were. I'd guess if you were caught in it you wouldn't have been quite as impressed. We sat a bit transfixed for a while as the deep black clouds pulsed and circled round the castle then dumped an ocean's worth of water. I was dreading the walk (or swim) home and was hearing reports of Morningside being underwater. However as if by magic, the clouds cleared and I made it home and dry.

Hopefully the clouds don't return in such a fashion this weekend, but as it's TITP weekend it's almost a given.
