North Berwick
I went to visit my Grannie today, I hadn't seen her in about 4 months so it was nice.
I also drove for the first time in 4 months to North Berwick and back. I was kind of out of practise but I didn't kill anyone so I'd say it was a success.
The bottom half of this photo was just a hedge, so I cropped it. I've taken a photo of this view twice before here and here.
Differences I have noticed since arriving home 6 days ago:
If someone next to you is speaking English, that doesn't mean they are speaking to you.
The pillows are really long! (I remember noticing how square the pillows were when I arrived in Sweden, but British rectangular pillows are definitely a lot weirder.)
There isn't a hot dog stand on every corner.
If you catch a stranger's eye by accident they usually smile, and if they don't you think they're rude.
You can't go out in this city without bumping into someone you know.
It rains a lot here.
Then in the evening Rosie, Katherine and I went out to Liquid Rooms with lots of Rosie's cool art school friends.
