Orchid

Not in our front yard, this time. This one is growing in our kitchen. My wife's birthday was July 4th, and our youngest son and his wife gave her this orchid, with the guarantee that it is really easy to grow. I do quite well with house plants, so this one is my baby for the moment. From what they said, you just have to put an ice cube on the moss in the morning and in the evening. It slowly melts and keeps the moss wet. Well, we'll see how that goes. But, so far, so good. And it does bring a bright spot of beauty to the kitchen.
