Hyderabad Cycling Club

a relatively new club - less than 3 weeks old. But brimming with activity already - thanks to the enthusiastic and seasoned riders in the community. Today was the biggest meetup of the group - about 35 riders came together for a heritage ride to the old city. The group moved like a convoy. Not everyday in this city the traffic stops for bikers, today was one such. We rode by most of the historical monuments of the city. The breakfast was at the usual cafe at the foot of the charminar.

Riding in such a big group is never easy - more so, when you're the organizer of the ride. There was much waiting and time lost in mobilizing. With a little better planning, I am sure these rides can be enjoyable and more social at the same time. A 64km round trip to wrap it up but took much longer than it would have otherwise.
