With the new season's green tips bursting to show themselves, these remnants of our last summer are really sticky to depart.

On the western side, this tree is still full of beautiful fall leaves: orange,rusty and golden brown.

Yet high up, the bare, swollen tips show a burst of fresh new green here and there!
