Boring Blip

Sorry about this folks. It's quite simply shit.

I'm not the best photographer as you've no doubt seen but, hey, it's the taking part that counts yeah?

I need some assistance. I'd tried a few night shots where there was little light from moon or street lights and nothing really comes out. Tonight I read the instruction manual and followed the guide on aperture, shutter, flash, quality etc. It was getting late for a blip so I leant out the bedroom window and snapped the wee lane. What I snap is nothing like what I can see. All I want is an image that can pass for a decent nightime blip.

So - the B@rker's, Joe's and Wingpigs etc out there. Gimme some advice, please, on what basics and settings I should be using.

What about these folk who can snap the moon perfectly for example.
