it probably doesn't look like very much, but spotting that little green shoot this afternoon has delighted me. It's on my bay tree which had an argument with the weather over the winter and lost rather badly, despite me draping it with various layers of material in an attempt to kid it that it wasn't minus 10 out there.

Since then it's looked worse and worse so I hacked it back and crossed my fingers.No luck tho and then today, just as I was thinking me and mr bay might be parting company, it surprises me by giving my terrace another go. Must be summer or something, happy days.
