New View

These 2 wind turbines are at the top of our back lane. They make an easy landmark, but today I found yet another wonderful new path I have never walked along and found this new view, and then wonderful woods laced with paths that led down to a deep gorge on one side and to the low fells on the other. It will take me months to explore it all

Highlights today were song thrushes calling, a sparrowhawk mobbed by foolhardy meadow pippets and too rarely heard but wonderful, cries and laughter of chiildren playing together in the woods!
