The Happiest Day of Their Lives...so far

Introducing Mr David Langtree and his beautiful wife, Mrs Felicity Langtree. What a wonderful, joyous celebration it was as well! One of the best things about being a bridesmaid is the fact that you get to see everything up close - best seats in the house, in fact. Felicity was simply stunning - a truly beautiful bride. My mum said this morning that the day was made for her when she was standing speaking to the groom. Someone had said to him Felicity looked beautiful and he looked over at her and said "she does, but she is always beautiful." Aye, he'd bring a tear to a glass eye that one...

Later on in the evening I finally got a wee moment with David. We were chatting about how the day had gone and some of the funny wee things that had happened and he said that he could genuinely say that it had been the happiest day of his life. It's not often that David and I have a serious moment but it was said with such emotion and sincerity that he almost got me started...and then he said something smutty and normal service was resumed.
