Reunited
A big surprise last night as Mr G appeared at the door. It was his intention to surprise me and it worked.
It might only be for the weekend but that's good enough for me.
After a long lie this morning, he got to walk the dogs with me in the pouring rain. He's missed them and they've missed him too.
We all went to visit my Mum in hospital this afternoon and the good news is that she has recovered well enough to go home tomorrow. That's great for her because she's found it tough being away from the family and not getting to see her doggy Judy.
Claire did well to come with us to the hospital, although she couldn't stay long. She starts to feel really unwell and stressed out in hospitals. There's probably a proper name for it, but we call it hospital-phobic.
To cheer her up we took her to gloagburn farm shop and cafe in Tibbermore near Perth.
I Highly recommend it.
The only thing that spoilt the visit was....the rain.
I was relieved of cooking duties tonight and we treated ourselves to a meal from our favourite indian restaurant.
Off now to have a bottle of vino and to enjoy the rest of our time together. ;-)
This is the Mother and Son in a field of beautiful horses just off our exit on the dual carriageway.
They are so lovely together and I watched the foal suckle from his mum before I took the picture.
P.S too busy to comment this weekend, but I'll catch up early next week x
