keep your head up, keep your heart strong

a wonderful day today. totally stoked after an afternoon of beach cleaning wih Surfers Against Sewage on Kingsbarns Beach in Fife, followed by some (free) Barefoot wine who are partnering on the beach clean tour and... most wonderfully,..an exclusive gig with Ben Howard.

If you've not heard of Ben Howard, look him up. www.benhowardmusic.co.uk He has a pretty local following from his Devon and Cornwall crowd, and then a surfer following to add to that. but he's just getting bigger and bigger - on the music scene that is. the gig tonight was put on for the folk that had helped at the beach clean, so about thirty of us were treated to a magical performance in the back room of a local pub.

One of my favourite tracks is Cloud Nine, which i discovered tonight was written for his sister. It was sung with such emotion i was fighting back the tears!

a fantastic day. 315 kilos of litter collected, free wine and magical live music - all that is missing is M.
