Early Rise

H and I were meant to be meeting a friend and her little boy today, but unfortunately she is suffering badly with morning sickness and had to cancel. I was a bit disappointed as I was looking forward to a catch up, but also secretly relieved as I didn't fancy the 90 minute drive after a 5am wake up!

Yes, H had a coughing fit at 5am, and despite encouragement from me to go back to sleep, she decided it was a good time to get up. So as she clearly needed an extra nap during the day, I took advantage and had a sneaky hour myself mid-morning.

Apart from a trip to the shop for bread and to the pharmacist to collect H's daddy's prescriptions, we had a quiet day around the house, and playing in the garden with her new toys.
