~slip and slide~

Today was barkdust day at our house and it is Will's favorite day of the year. He loves to go get it, watch the man use the big front loader and dump it in our trailer and come home and spread it. He has his own wheel barrow, shovel and rake. No plastic toy ones for him, it has to be the real thing. This year I got my way and we got mulch for the front and the back. Paul likes the red bark better, but my greener thumb won!

Note to self: read the invite to birthday parties and then reread again for date and time. Today we showed up a day early to Sam's friends party! The boys were not pleased when they realized that the splash park party was not going to happen today. Totally my fault and messed up the progress on our yard. We came back and the boys decided they were hot and it was time for the slip and slide. I know that this is not the best in terms of quality, but it was fun to practice and may have to retry tomorrow heading away from the sun!
