21st!

Day shift today and the day went really quickly. Tarsh, Scott, Ethan and Laura came to the station to have a look around in the morning. I was showing them around the place when we got a call! It was a medical call to a guy who had had a heart attack at a sports stadium.

People were doing CPR on him when we got there which was good and we set up our defibrillator and oxygen kit and had to give him a shock before the ambulance guys arrived. He ended up getting two more shocks before he got a pulse back and was breathing on his own!

Tarsh, Scott, Ethan and Laura came back to the station once we got back and had a look in the truck and around the rest of the station! They had a great time!

After work I went into the city to a good friend, Jess's, 21st party! I have known Jess since she was about 6 years old and have watched her grow up into an amazing person! She is so down to earth and lovely and funny and just an awesome person! I had a great time catching up with her and her family and lots of other people I hadn't seen in ages!

This is Jess's cake which was very delicious!!
