Begonia with rain droplets
Went into the garden for a blip-hunting spree between about 12:30 and 1:30 this morning. I was armed again with my LED head-torch. I took 47 shots. However I was just a little bit tipsy (to put it mildly) so come this morning I wasn't really expecting any of the pics to be even slightly presentable! Much to my astonishment I found 9 which were. I narrowed them down to 2 which I felt were blip-worthy, and finally settled on this one. It was the rain on it that swung my choice.
Tuberous Begonias are one of my absolute favourite garden plants, I grow loads of them each year. They're so vibrantly coloured, almost blowsy, and I adore them. I usually have the giant picotee ones as well as the single-coloured ones but this year never got round to ordering any of those. Reminder to myself: get some next year!
