back-blipped

Ben was a dirty stop-out last night. (As were we all.) "Celebrating Cultures" event at church - was good fun! Ben thought it was too loud until Ede arrived, then the two of them spent most of the evening running round!

This zooming creature was Ben's minder for the last part of the evening :)


Spent the morning doing those tidying up jobs that have been hanging around for a while - like putting the camping stuff into the attic! After lunch Steve had some fellas round to discuss plans for the technical side of the evening's event, and then they all went off to start setting up.

Ben and I had a nap. Ben slept about an hour and a half, and decided that was enough and got up to play in and around the bedroom. I stayed in bed until Ben's stinky bum demanded I get up again...

Had some dinner, got us dressed properly, and went out. Completely forgot to take any spare nappies with me, to be fair I honestly didn't think we'd end up staying the whole evening right until they'd finished tidying up at the end! Ended up scavenging a nappy from Ede's mum and a nappy bag from another mum, and tying Ben's shorts up so that they wouldn't fall down - the only thing holding his pants up these days is his bulky cloth nappy ;)

Got home, topped up our food levels, and headed off to bed all together. Phew :)
