Sackler Crossing

Today we went to Kew with friends. It was a lovely day... not too hot and the forecast rain managed to hold off.

A relatively new installation there is the Sackler Crossing, which I absolutely love. It's a bridge over the lake, made of black granite and bronze posts. At first the bronze sides appear to be solid but then as you approach it you realise that it is made up of lots of individual posts. It's so graceful it looks like it is gliding over the water.
